Dear Stephanie I am writing to you as the Director responsible for the Bitterne office of Field Palmer. I completed on the sale of my late mother’s house today. Your colleague, Jodie Oberst has been guiding me through that process since January 2020 when I first made contact with her (before I had even been granted probate). Over the last 15 months Jodie has been absolutely brilliant to deal with. Despite giving me the lowest valuation of three estate agents, I instantly knew that she was somebody that was being realistic and would act in my best interest. I selected Field Palmer as my estate agent despite the fact that they gave the lowest valuation of 3 agents. I had a good feeling about them and in particular Jodie Oberst, Assistant Manager at the Bitterne branch - her approach and valuation just ‘felt’ more realistic than her competitors. Unfortunately one buyer pulled out after a few weeks when their mortgage offer was withdrawn. The house was put back on the market and a new purchaser agreed the asking price 3 days later. Here we are just 8 weeks on and contracts have just been exchanged with completion scheduled for next week. Throughout all my dealings with Jodie and the team at Field Palmer I have found them to be approachable and helpful. They always responded to my emails and calls. They also made themselves available to allow the purchaser have the house revisited by tradesmen 3 times post sale agreement (I live away and they hold the keys). All of this occurred during the national lockdown. I can’t recommend them enough! Genuinely a nice set of people to deal with!!

What a breath of fresh air to experience a house sale with Field Palmer!
