Sales Market Update Spring 2024

The activity levels are up in the Southampton property sales market, when compared to the spring market from the previous two years,  although the number of viewings are similar, the conversion from viewing to offer has hugely improved. This means less viewings are needed to secure a buyer.

Instruction and sale levels have increased, and we are excited for every new instruction! A lot of the market is driven by interest rates and at preset the rates are stable compared to the previous to years where they have fluctuated greatly. The most promising signs are that more people are selling and buying, the uncertain market has left many pondering a move for several years however now the confidence that the market is stable seems to be helping.
