Sales Market Update Autumn 2026

The third quarter of 2026 has definitely been an interesting one in terms of estate agency – but the figures are still showing some buoyancy in the Southampton market. Although the number of viewings was lower in comparison to quarter two across the East side of the city, sales numbers were up! This demonstrates a better applicant quality, realistic stock pricing and still a demand for properties in the SO postcode. 

We also experienced an increase in property valuations, instructions and mortgage appointments – this is an encouraging sign, and indicates that homeowners are wanting information in relation to the cost of moving and the value of their assets to enable them to make informed decisions in regards to the next steps on the property ladder.
